Whether to purchase a game via Steam or CD depends on personal preference and convenience. Buying a game via Steam allows for easy access to the game from any device with the Steam client installed, as well as automatic updates and cloud saves. Ultimately, the decision between Steam or CD comes down to individual preferences and needs. **
